The Symphony series is a body of abstract photographs created through the unique, camera-less process of lumen printing. Sunlight exposes the image directly onto Ilford Multigrade art paper over several hours. Each sheet is then carefully fixed, scanned, and reproduced as a Giclée print. I love to experiment — to dwell in the slow exposure, the chemical reactions, the balance between control, uncertainty, and surprise. I imagine waves of photons traveling from our sun to strike the paper, sparking reactions with earthly organics and objects to form images. All these elements converge like a symphony in my heart. Across all my works, I attend to life, the subconscious, and the passage of time. This medium-sized print on paper offers a striking presence in any space. Its abstract nature allows it to harmonize with many interior styles, bringing an element of poetic intrigue. Symphony is an invitation to pause, look closely, and listen to the quiet music within.
